Radiation
Experiments and Monitors (REM) at www.radfet.com has existed as a small consulting and trading firm since 1975. Now, as a stage in a commercial
"push", REM OXFORD Ltd. has become a limited company (has become incorporated) in the UK. The
REM firms engage in consulting, research and development in the field of solid-state dosimetry and design for radiation
tolerance in spacecraft components. You will get a feel for capabilities in this area if you click "About
consulting". We also make and sell a unique dosimeter product.
The main product is the RADFET,
a radiation dosimeter, based on the Metal-Oxide Semiconductor Field-Effect Transistor. The mounted sensors are already available
in commercial quantities - contact us for quotations but are also under continual development. "Read" electronics are also under
development. Many users prefer to buy RADFETs from REM and make their own purpose-built "read" circuits, with consultation
from REM (click on "About RADFETs").
